The restaurant in the former Nat West building is now open and looks fantastic from the outside, we called in yesterday for look around the inside. very impressed :clap

Has anyone out there tried it yet :?:

I went in for a pint on bank holiday monday about 5.00pm. Absolutely heaving and looks very impressive. Even had a singer who was excellent. I have been told it is fully booked up for the next 3 weeks (evenings I assume)

Yes a real asset for Poynton, however it has to be very very good to challenge the Deanwater in Woodford.

Very nice, very smart, food quite good. However drinks expensive.

The menu looks nice although not much for veggies which is surprising in this day and age. No menu for kids online either, but then it is not really marketing itself as a family restaurant. Mind you, I'm sure my primary-school age son would polish off a £30 rib-eye steak without it hitting the sides. Just hitting my wallet. :-)

there is a kids menu - we were in there a few days ago - although we didn't look at it as went for sharing tapas instead!

Place looks lovely and food was really nice. Its a little on the pricey side - but thats the market they've gone for - and I reckon it will be a great addition to Poynton

We went for lunch today it was busy but we had to wait 45 minutes for food to arrive without any apology for the lengthy delay.

From a customer service point of view it was very poor.
