There are notices exhibited on lamp post round the church indicating that Cheshire East were implementing a waiting limit in the parking bays on London Road.
They are dated February 2016.....................
Nothing implemented yet .......

Re: Natwest Bank
Yes Desmo Man, planners are supposed to take into consideration as to whether there is car parking available for applications such as the Natwest Bank change of use, but if you look at the plans it shows there is an ample car park behind. News is, this does not belong to the bank building, it belongs to the Co-op who still own the land. It is now used as a general free car park for the time being, nobody has right to claim parking on it. It's presently a 'concession' given by the Co-op. The question is are the planners who submit these applications knowledgeable about the local area and have they done their homework?

Re: Natwest Bank
If a business can survive without its own parking, it must be doing something right.
Why should the council make assumptions on the method of transport people would use to visit a bar/restaurant? An alcohol licensed premise where “The Car” is the least sensible method.

Seemed to be going well... but has it now all come to halt? there has been no sign of activity for some time.

New Panache in former NatWest building
Wonder if the new owners have properly got their postal address sorted out yet ?
At present we have Snapes correctly addressed as 2 London Road North
On the opposite corner is Panache who seem to think they are One London Road (neither north nor south)
Cheshire East, do you have a Street Naming & Numbering Officer ??
