I drove from Poynton to B&Q at Stanley Green this morning and there's nobody working. I would have thought in the circumstances that Bank Holidays off were not an option!

Drove in to work this morning to find the road layout at the top of the existing dual carriageway at Bramhall/Woodford has now changed so they are now utilising the slip roads they put in.

I guess that means work to dig out under the bridge and to remove parts of the existing carriageway will now commence.

Hoping that the new layout doesn't cause too much chaos whilst people get used to it.

Long queues last night coming from the A34. Three way lights to get off the A555, hours of fun!

At 9am this morning, 15 minutes from the Bird Estate to Bramhall bypass
I do hope that the road layout / traffic lights aren't here until the bypass is finished. I can't see what else they can do though.

About the same delay at 11am, I think its a case of the old cliche omelettes and eggs :)
