What was the public consensus of the fun fair. Was it boycotted? :o Did the kids enjoy it? :D

Would the fun fair not need a temporary event notice or something similar?

I can't believe you can just turn up and run a fun fair to the public without some kind of council permission.

The story going around is that they asked Well if it would be OK to put a funafair there and they said yes. Not a penny raised by the funfair and associated food stalls went to the fest.

Well I thought the funfair was very good and I am sure the kids that used it will have spent money in the village either before or after the rides. From what I saw, the kids really liked it. :clap

There is a 28 day rule where land can have an alternative use without planning permission. Includes temporary buildings and machinery.
14 days for markets / car boot sales, motor car / motor cycle racing.
No motor sport, clay pigeon shooting or war games on land of scientific interest. :D
