Woodford Road Art Gallery

Postby Rostervor » Sat May 19, 2018 6:12 pm

It would appear that Picasso has put in an appearance along the length of Woodford Road. There is enough white paint on the road to paint the White House................................twice!!!
It's not a spillage but carefully painted lines around all the potholes and defects in the road surface. The last time someone painted lines around defects on this road, they wore away so no-one bothered any repairs. May be this time repairs will be carried out before they get worn away.

All the white paint has been removed by vandals who have covered them in tarmac.
It would have been nice for someone to advise us before digging up across my drive and then blocking access with a digger and tarmac laying machine.

Everyone else knew that there was no through road owing to the work on Chester Road, Hazel Grove, Although several hundred have chosen to ignore the signs during the week and had to turn round in Mill Hill Hollow.
None of the resident knew that work was being carried out on Woodford Road which blocked driveways. It did not appear on CE roadworks, I checked. and when you're expecting to get out of your drive without hinderence !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just waiting now for the road sweeper to turn up to clear the chunks of tarmac off the paths and gutter to avoid walking into the house with it stuck to the soles of your shoes...................... some hope.
