Re: Town Council's response to SEMMMS consultation, June 2018
In the first section this document from the Town Council cites the refusal of Cheshire East Council to monitor air quality in Poynton. This needs more local publicity and some proper accounting for the refusal. I believe CE has 18 traffic pollution action areas so things must at be much worse in those with more queing heavy trucks and commuters!!! The situation around Broken Cross, which is one of the 18, was used by campaigners regarding more housing developments. Clearly those who live on or near the three main congested approaches to Poynton centre can be reassured by this, especially as Cheshire East has significant responsibility for public health issues. .
