Chips

Postby pennypack » Fri Jul 27, 2018 11:54 am

Where do I go to get some descent chips ? Maybe Yorkshire. Poynton's famous chip shop is serving poor quality chips, I had to throw half away. I wont be going there for a while.

There are two, one on Park Lane and one opposite Queensway. I think I know which one you mean, but have you tried the other one?

The chippy opposite Queensway is under new management , it is being refurbished as we speak.

The Big Fish chippy at Summefields Village Court near Lidl at Handforth is excellent but its a bit far away.

Poynton;s famous chip shop has started to supply poor quality chips. I noticed that many of my chips still showed signs of the skin being there, and some where not cooked through.

I have to agree the chips cooked and served at the famous chip shop recently have not been up to scratch. I hope that they get their act together soon or they may loose once loyal customers.
