Earthworks on Chester Road

There is a lot of activity in front of the petrol refinery where the bypass offices used to be.

Is this just levelling the ground or are they preparing it for something specific (Tesco, multiplex cinema, 30 cafes?) :mrgreen:

Thought they may be keeping a presence for the start of the relief road. :geek: Or would that have crumbled to dust by the time they start?.... :?

Whatever the future use of this piece of land is , it is only right that it is returned to pasture land as before .
I'm sure people would be quick to moan if it was left in a mess, for once the construction company or whoever is responsible is doing the right thing :clap

It was part of the contract with the owner when part of the land was purchased for the new access road to SEMMS from Chester Rd
