Poynton, Bramhall, Hazel Grove Forums

About 18 months ago(I think) Dickens Lane was re-surfaced and became by far the smoothest road in Poynton. They have now started work on the new houses next to the vets and large loaded wagons are regularly going down there to deliver building materials etc.

I am no expert on road building but is there a possibility that these wagons will do the same damage to the new Dickens Lane that the Tarmac, Cemec and J. O'Shea wagons did to Chester road while building the by-pass

Aug 2017. Less likely as the road was cold planed, base coarse & wearing coursed, Chester Rd was an old surface that was planned to re done after the bypass works
