Looking for Lisa Wilson

Postby down-under-dom » Mon Jan 04, 2010 7:41 am

Hi all,

I'm trying to determine the wherabouts of a Lisa Wilson, who lived on Bramhall Lane South, Bramhall (unfortunately I can't remember the exact house number). We met here in Noosa, Australia in late 1992 - early 1993, where she was travelling with a friend Julia (surname unknown - I think she was either a school or college friend) before heading to New Zealand. She was early 20's at the time, so must be late 30's now.

We maintained contact during 1993 but lost touch thereafter. I tried to contact her by mail in 1995, prior to visiting the UK, but received no reply.

Does anyone recall who I'm talking about, and know either a) her current whereabouts, or b) any details from the time (high school, friends, college, siblings etc) which might help me locate her?

Cheers,
Dom

Hi again,

As an addendum to the above, Lisa Wilson lived in house number 249 on Bramhall Lane South. Can anyone shed some light?

Cheers,
Dom

I might know of her so keep watching. If she replies to me, I will guide her to this page.

Anyone?

Just to clarify the above. There's nothing creepy or sinister about my recent interest in Lisa Wilson after so long. It's not necessarily even about getting in contact - it's been nearly 20 years after all! Really, it's more that I'd like to satisfy my curiosity and know that she has lived a full and happy life.

As per previous, any information would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Dom

Dom, I have written to a school friend of hers to see if she can give you any information. You do have the correct address but not sure if this is the same Lisa Wilson. This one finished high school in 1989. I understand she is married and is a lawyer. Her family no longer live in Bramhall. Keep watching!

Anyone who was taught piano by Margaret Hunt

Postby Marleywarley » Fri Sep 10, 2010 12:12 pm

My Mum, Margaret Hunt, is celebrating her 80th birthday next April and the family are compiling a surprise Life story book for her. She has taught the piano in Bramhall for over 55 years and continues to teach! As this is a major part of her life, and has given her so much pleasure we are looking for pupils from the late 1950s to present day to include photos and biogs in her book. This is going to be a surprise so please don't let on to her if you know her. Would love to hear from anyone who knows of someone who she has taught (there are literally hundreds of pupils)

Hi there. My name is Kath. I am looking for an old friend of my mother's. Her married name is Wendy Lord and she has lived in the Bramhall area for many years. She apparently has lived in Bramhall Lane South, but my mother is not exactly sure of the address, as she has been quite unwell and can't find Wendy's address details.

She was my mother's bridesmaid in New Zealand in 1961, and my mother (Ann) has kept in touch with her every year at Christmas, but she hasn't heard from her at all over this Christmas period.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of her and could help me contact her. Mum is concerned that perhaps she is unwell, or worse, has passed away.

thanks,
Kath

IM looking for a person who lived in Bramhall while I worked there in the early 80s. She worked in the wool shop in the village. Her name was then Susan Wood. I would like to be able to contact her to see how her life has developed since then.

Kind regards

John ( formerly of Barbers of Bramhall)
