Lisa Furmanek (Police, PCSO, Macclesfield LPU North & Poynton PCSO)£ wrote:Good afternoon Residents,

Please find below a number of incidents that have been reported to us over the last week. If you have any information or CCTV regarding the below incidents please call us on 101 or email us at macclesfield.lpu@cheshire.pnn.police.uk quoting the relevant IML number.

Overnight 24th-25th March vehicles on Wayside Drive and Brookfield Ave have been entered and items taken. No damage was caused to either vehicle. IML-356269/359220.

Overnight 26th-27th March containers on a construction site on Wood Lane South, Adlington have been broken into and tools stolen. IML-357919.

Overnight 26-27th March a residents fence was damaged in the Barnaby Park area. Wing mirrors were also smashed on vehicles parked on Barnaby Road and Dombey Road. IML-357927/358010.

Overnight 29th-30th March a side window was smashed on a vehicle parked on Lyme View Marina, Adlington. At this time it is unknown if anything was taken. IML-360861.

Over the weekend (29th March – 1st April) a container has been broken into in the grounds of St. Georges Church and a number of petrol powered gardening tools have been stolen. IML-362454.

Overnight 31st March-1st April a number of external light fittings have been stolen from a row of garages off Chester Road. IML-362800.

Yesterday (1st April) we also received a report of an Italian male who was trying to sell 'expensive' clothing at a reduced rate from the boot of his car around the Queensway area. PLEASE never buy goods this way. Approx a year ago we received a similar report and unfortunately the victim was left with very poor quality clothing items and out of pocket of a large sum of money. The elderly are often the target victim for this scam so please alert your elderly relatives and friends. If you are approached in a similar way please call us on 101 or if the male is pushy/persistent please call 999. If possible try and pass a description of the person and any details of the vehicle they may be using.

Good Morning,

Is there a reason why we don't get posts on this subject anymore?

The answer is because nedsram died and nobody has taken over the role. I will try to find where he was obtaining the reports and put them up if I can get on the distribution list.

Fair enough.

I did know about Nedsrum. I didn't know that someone hadn't replaced him like for like that is why I asked the question.

Thanks for your answer.
